Central Park toilets should be a priority

I WAS disgusted to read that the toilets in Central Park are to be demolished due to mindless vandals who have nothing better to do than to damage buildings, especially toilets, which are essential in a large park.

It is all very well for the Life Centre to say they will allow the public to use their toilets. What happens when there is a large sporting event on at the Life Centre? If you are not a member, will the young, old, families and disabled be allowed entry? It will soon be the summer holiday and a lot of people will be using Central Park. Will they be allowed to use the Life Centre when they need, especially if they don't live in the vicinity?

If the council can put portable loos on camp sites, where there are illegal travellers, surely they can put some in Central Park, say from 9am until 6pm, then remove them until the following day? Or are the people of Plymouth going to have new toilets built in Central Park in the immediate future, which is surely a priority?
