![Kingsmead end holders GT Sports' reign in Tom Morgan Cup]()
This is Bath -- GT Sports' hopes of retaining the Tom Morgan Cup were ended by a 3-1 defeat at the hands of fellow Roper Rhodes Bathrooms Bath & District Sunday League Division 1 outfit Kingsmead. Nick Tiley's 15th-minute screamer from the edge of the box gave the Kings the initiative and Paget headed home John Dolman's long throw to double their lead. Ash Isaacs stabbed the ball home to halve the arrears a minute before half-time but Martin King grabbed the only goal of a tight second period to settle the contest and book Kings' place in the quarter-finals. Chris Young helped himself to a hat-trick as Bear Flat defeated Walcot Wanderers 4-1 in the first round. An upset looked to be on the cards when Walcot took the lead against Division 2's bottom side but Stuart Mason – normally a keeper but playing outfield in a makeshift Bears line-up – smashed in an unstoppable 25-yarder on his 300th appearance for the club to equalise. The prolific Young added two more before half-time before completing the scoring after the break. The Works Vultures were made to pay for wasteful finishing and sloppy defending in a 3-1 defeat to KCC in Division 2. Captain Tristan Hawkins, Marcus Smith and Sam Pollinger were on the mark for KCC, whose opening goal was cancelled out by Dan Groves. A ten-man Marshfield side took the lead through Jack Ashton against visiting Tramways before going on to suffer a 6-1 defeat. Mo Jabbi put Trams 2-1 up and then missed a penalty. A solo effort from Lee White and James Weymouth's second-half hat-trick secured the spoils. Free scoring striker Joe Duncan notched another hat-trick as Atletico Bath eased to a 5-2 victory over Walcot Wanderers United in Division 5. The away side took a shock lead through a free header in the opening 15 minutes but Atletico soon seized control of the game. A poor own goal levelled the scores before Adam Sardo profited from a goalkeeping error to make it 2-1 with a long-range strike. Duncan scored his first shortly before the break and added two more, including a penalty, in the second half. Walcot battled hard to the end, though, and replied with a deserved second goal. Ben Dawkins and Jamie Knight scored equalisers for Olympic Victoria in their game at Nomads, who emerged as 3-2 winners.
