FIREFIGHTERS are at Kings School dealing with the aftermath of a fire.
A blaze broke out in the old gym at the Pitt Street site in Gloucester at about 9.20am this morning.
It was spotted by a passer by who rang emergency services.
An appliance from Gloucester North and Gloucester South Fire stations were sent to the incident with 11 firefighters and Watch Commander Barton in charge.
They extinguished a small fire caused by a fuse box fault and there was minimal damage to the area.
The electricity board were also called to come and have a look at the fault.
The school's clerk of works Alan Spencer was at the scene and said: "No one was in the building and there isn't much damage.
"The firefighters are still in there checking things over."
