TIME FOR TEA: Visitors to the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery were whisked back to the 1930s for Tea Gowns and Tea Time.
The event celebrated the fashions and cake recipes of the pre-war years.
Lucy Adlington, pictured right, of the History Wardrobe costume company, was dressed in 1930s attire. She also presented a talk on high-society fashions of the age, coupled with gossip about kings and baking tips.
Visitors were also treated to a cup of tea and a slice of 1930s-style homemade cake.
